Our digitalised world is full of data that transform into personally, socially, scientifically, or commercially meaningful information, when properly presented as linked data.
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Finnish Office and Tampere University of Technology (TUT) organise a technology and science symposium on October 3, 2012 that presents the state of the art development and research around Linked Data. The program of the day includes a keynote by the distinguished W3C expert Dr. Michael Hausenblas, and invited expert presentations on various applied research and technology topics.
The event takes place at TUT campus and is open free of charge to anyone interested in linked data and the related applications. Recommended background knowledge includes rudimentary understanding of Web technologies, or rudimentary understanding of science and engineering disciplines. The event is organised in English.
The event is organised in association with the MindTrek 2012 International Media & Business Festival. Welcome!
The symposium starts October 3, 2012, at 12:00, at TUT Hervanta campus, Korkeakoulunkatu 1 Tampere, in Tietotalo building, room TB104. (Visit TUT on Google Maps.)
